Clinical Psychologist

I am a licensed Psychologist (license number 124) with a specialization in the field of clinical psychology. I received my first degree in psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Murray State University of the United States of America. I am a member of the Cyprus Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association, APA.

I have worked as a clinical psychologist with people of different ages, with children, adults, couples and families. I help people facing various situations such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, interpersonal difficulties and behavioural disorders. My experience includes work in in-patient Center and psychological centres for out-patients.

In the past in the context of my practical experience, I worked at the psychiatric hospital of Thessaloniki as a supervised Psychologist. I have also worked as a supervised psychologist at the psychological Centre of Murray State University for outpatients, providing assessment and treatment for adults, children and couples.

I have been practicing the profession of Clinical Psychologist on a private basis in Cyprus from September 2010. At the same time I’m an associate at the Center for Research and Advisory Services (KESY) in Nicosia. In the past I worked at the Educational Psychology Services, as a substitute School Psychologist and as a clinical psychologist with KENTHEA.

My therapeutic approach takes into account the presenting problem, the client’s request, the expectations and goals. I work by following principles from various research proven therapeutic approaches.
